It's so true that just being appreciated makes you want to do more for people ... and yet, the more you do for people the less they appreciate you. Murphy's law i guess or what?!!
Take family for example ... You do the world for them .. look after their kids, cook for them when they ill, wait up for them when they coming home late ... the list is endless ... yet when ONE thing doesn't go their way, the first person they blow up at is you - yes you, not their spouse or their parents, you - the little sister that sits silent and takes the crap! ... why?!! What's a girl to do?
Is it because being overly nice all the time makes people take advantage of you?! what gives a person the right to be horrible to another person who's nothing but nice ... I think i need to stop this nice behaviour, and just do things that please me ... I'm not here to please the world, lifes's too short ...
Why cant good deeds cause good deeds in return like in the movie "pay it forward" .... everyone needs to learn a great lesson from that movie ... because the way i see it, if life carries on the way it is where being nice gets you kicked, the world is heading for worse disaster than it already is in ... Shucks!
